Here is a fun and tasty last minute Valentine's Day DYI for your sweetheart.
Chocolate Covered Granola Strawberries
Ingredients:
- 6 oz semi sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup NAG Date Food granola
- 1 pound strawberries with stems, washed and dried
Directions:
In a microwave-safe bowl, cook chocolate until melted. (I suggest cooking at a reduced power setting in 30 second increments, stirring between each until chocolate is smooth) Holding berries by the stem, dip each one in molten chocolate, about three-quarters of the way to the stem. Dip in granola and lay on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate until hardened.
