Granola Truffles Are For Lovers

Sarah Mock

Valentine's Day is here.

You could give a box of chocolates.

You could give a diamond bracelet.

But what does the lover on your list really want?

Granola Truffles.

Granola truffles are for lovers.

With just 3 ingredients you can hand craft these delicious, healthy, granola truffles.

  • 1 bag Nuts About Granola Lover's Combo
  • Honey
  • Peanut butter

If you are looking for a natural peanut butter the Shoppe carries the Naturally Nutty nut butters. Peanut butter is called for in this recipe but substitute in a nut butter of your choice.

  • 2 1/2 cups Lover's Combo granola
  • 1/3 cup Honey (Lancaster County Honey available in the Shoppe)
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter (Naturally Nutty available in the Shoppe)

*HINT. Microwave the honey and peanut butter for 30 second to make it more fluid. Don't over heat or the chocolate chips will melt in the Lover's Combo granola.

Stir until combined.

Using a scoop (or even your clean hands!) to form bit size truffles.

Chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Coat in chocolate and top with a flake of of sea salt.

This recipe will make about 2 dozen walnut sized granola truffles.
