Last weekend, I had the pleasure of taking a trip to York, PA to visit one of our market stands at the York Central Market.  As any typical Saturday in February, the market was moderately filled with natives stocking up on local fare from their favorite vendors.

Nuts About Granola opened its stand in the summer of 2008. Since then, it has been proudly selling bags of granola three days a week to loyal customers and new visitors.  If you're having a hard time deciding on one of the alluring flavors, feel free to ask for a sample and they will gladly provide a tasting of any of the granola on display. 

Sarah (owner) frequently visits the stand during hours of operation to oversee business and to say hello to many of her fans, but the every day management belongs to Gayle, Sarah's co-owner and someone she also calls "mom." 

Serving fresh local ingredients is the founding mission of Nuts About Granola so being able to work directly with our customers is an important aspect of the business.  If you find yourself in York, PA, make it a point to visit the Central Market and be sure to stop by the stand.
