Sarah's Savory Snacks

Real Food that Tastes Good

We are a small business headquartered in York, PA that specializes in freshly baked granola made with high-quality ingredients. We believe that real food should taste good!

Our co-founder Sarah Lanphier was still enrolled in Elizabethtown College’s business program when she first “went nuts.” As captain of her school’s triathlon team, Sarah lived an active lifestyle and incorporated her healthy habits into a creative fundraiser at her school, selling her soon-to-be-famous granola around campus. She quickly realized she had found her passion in life and began developing her company in conjunction with her business classes.

Dedicated to Freshness

Nuts About Granola is dedicated to selling fresh, wholesome, handcrafted granola to our growing customer base. Our support for the “Buy Fresh, Buy Local” campaign has led us to ensure our products are held to the highest standard. We are proud to say that all of our granola carries the “PA Preferred” seal from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

Beyond our local success, we have partnered with Martha Stewart as a preferred product in her New York Café, been featured as the “Snack of the Day” on the Rachael Ray Show, and were also chosen to provide our product in the official gift bags for the 31st Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards.

We’re constantly striving to improve and grow our business, and launched Crafted Co-Packing & Consulting in 2011 to meet our manufacturing and wholesale needs. Our flagship Nuts About Granola store opened its doors in 2012 in the heart of downtown York and our first dedicated manufacturing facility opened in 2014.

As we continue to grow, Sarah and Gayle have made it their mission to uphold the core values our company was built upon.
We promise to provide the freshest granola, using only quality ingredients, with a level of customer service that no other granola manufacturer can deliver.
